“I must become a bodyguard, no matter what!” Kaoru graduated from the training academy with excellent scores, making him the second best in his promotion after Takanori. He was also Kaito’s roommate for the entirety of their first year in the academy together. Kaoru excels at combat whenever he carries his wooden sword or a melee weapon with him, but he’s not very good at hand-to-hand combat in return. He is proud of his status as a bodyguard and likes his job, which has made him clash with Kaito multiple times, as he doesn’t exactly share the same sentiment as Kaoru does.
