Known for her iconic beauty, carefree attitude, and overwhelming strength, Arcueid appears as a stunning young woman with pale skin, golden eyes, and distinctive, almost ethereal blond hair. Beneath her charming personality lies a lethal existence: a near-immortal True Ancestor created to eradicate Dead Apostles and preserve the balance among supernatural beings. In the remake, Arcueid’s character is fleshed out with more nuanced motivations and emotional depth. Though she initially approaches Tohno Shiki with vengeance in mind after he fatally wounds her, their encounters reveal her complex nature—torn between her purpose as a True Ancestor and her longing for freedom and human experiences. Despite her deadly nature and near-limitless power, Arcueid exhibits an innocent curiosity about the world, often expressing delight in simple pleasures, though she struggles with the violent impulses ingrained in her existence as a vampire.
