Mei is a third-grade student, Youko's closest friend and classmate. She also acts as vice-president of the student council, a role she firmly and strictly fulfills, not because she is a cold girl but because Youko is losing her concentration very quickly. However, she understands that her friend wants to have a normal high school life without the responsibilities of her role as president, and she relies heavily on Masaharu to entertain her.
