The resident of the apartment next to the one where Renji usually lives—Nishi-Sanso. Although she keeps it a secret, she’s actually aspiring to be a journalist. She moved from Tokyo to live on her own after spotting a juicy story at the Redevelopment Project Bureau —a prime opportunity to launch her career as a journalist—but perhaps because the work doesn’t suit her personality, she’s hit a wall and has been losing motivation lately. She usually attends yoga classes as a hobby, but recently she’s gotten into the habit of slacking off and hasn’t been taking them very seriously. Ever since a chance encounter led her to start talking closely with Renji, she’s been hanging out in his room whenever she has free time. Although she doesn’t show it in public, despite her aspirations to become a journalist, she’s always been bad at socializing and has few friends. Especially since moving to Osaka, she hasn’t been able to adjust to the local culture and hasn’t made any friends at all, so she’s always left feeling isolated. Because of this, she seems to have become somewhat dependent on Renji, the first person she became close to. [Translated from the official site]
