Esaka is a good student, and he does his student life and part-time jobs in moderation, while cutting corners. However, he has an unparalleled love for women, and is aggressive to the point of being forceful when it comes to the women he likes. Although he and Makoto have a lot in common, their tastes and personalities are so different that they keep a safe distance from each other.
