Joseph is the Laboratory Manager of the 1st Lab in the Offices of Happiness Pharmaceutical, the company responsible for the creation of several medicinal drugs and that currently holds 50% of the accounts for the whole market. He became the manager of one of the main Labs of this monstruous company at the outstanding age of 13 years old, and was deemed as a genius boy with an amazing intellect. He's always been subject of praise and many claimed that he was fated for greatness and, upon becoming the Manager of the 1st Lab of the Company, he developed an overinflated ego that resulted in him becoming an incredibly obnoxious and unpleasant person. He's extremely arrogant and looks down on all his assistants, mocking their incompetence as he managed to become the Manager with his young age, while others that are in his forties work for him. The only people he respects are the President Doharas Happiness, who he holds great respect for due to his genius invention of the Seirogan, and the Manager of the 2nd Lab Rose, with who he developed a crush for and works hard to get her attention.
