Shan'omen

A mature om'verai with dark, crimson scales that glow faintly from within, giving off a fiery light. His body is covered in sharp, blade-like spines and plates that extend along his neck, back, and tail. The head is crowned with long, jagged horns and fins that sweep backward, and his yellow eyes shine with intensity. A man with a patriarchal mindset. In his view, his daughter (Silitreya) has no right to a journalism career; instead, she should engage in dancing and other, more feminine pursuits. His views are especially expressed in his attitude toward his wife, who is "obedient to him in everything, always; is an extension of him and must obey him in all things."
