Tomo is Aki's mysterious best friend who selflessly helps her deal with the curse and reach the truth. She's very energetic and emotional; she likes to joke around and laugh, easily express sympathy and just as easily explode with anger. Despite being relatively mature, she also has a mischievous and childish side to her. She often sat at home and made up fairy tales where the main characters were chess pieces. One time, the evil "king" was fried in the microwave oven. "As long as you can make a move, the game isn't lost!" [Based on the official art-book]
