A straightforward, honest boy who is often too narrow-minded. After falling in love with Sakurai, the student council president, he worked toward—and succeeded in—becoming vice president. He’s totally oblivious to Hasumi’s feelings toward him. Most do not see him as dependable, but he tends to surprise those around him when push comes to shove.
