Originally named Matvey, he is Hector's aide-de-camp and uncle, in his thirties. After the kingdom was dissolved, he followed Hector into exile in the Confederation, living under an alias and posing as Hector's older brother. Formerly trained at the royal military academy, he now makes a living as an electrician's assistant while taking care of Hector's daily needs. Restrained and loyal by nature, he holds an almost obsessive devotion to his lost homeland and the royal family, and has long endured Hector's whims and cruelty.
