Commander of the brigade to which the protagonist’s Training Battalion is assigned. Hayakawa’s superior officer. Although her brigade belongs to the Army, it also responds to requests from the military power of the Rokukyō Families. Arimura is not only politically adept but also brilliant in both strategy and tactics, and as a result, has many enemies. However, her true achievement lies in her terrifying genius as a developer — the very talent that brought Walking Weapons to completion. Because of this, there are rumours that she is, in some way, lacking as a person. According to the protagonist: “In the presence of General Arimura, I feel a kind of tension I have rarely experienced.” At times she shows neither smile nor anger, and at other times she speaks with a warmth far greater than necessary — two sides that are always intertwined. Including indirect connections, she has known the protagonist for a long time, and acknowledges his abilities as a soldier. “If you truly wish to change, then come with me.” [From official website]
