"Cook-chan, we'll overcome this with hard work and guts!" Based on Ferdinand Magellan, who was a Portuguese explorer who organised the Spanish expedition to the East Indies that resulted in the first circumnavigation of the Earth, completed by Juan Sebastián Elcano. A baseball-loving, ship-dwelling EU hero in charge of defending their southern territory. She doesn't think things through, relying instead on her instincts. Magellan believes that guts and willpower can overcome any situation, which constantly gets her in trouble with the more logical Cook. She's tough enough to shrug off a hit to the head from a cannonball. She's just too dumb to die. [From English official site]
