Renji’s right-hand man—and, in a sense, his closest confidant. They’ve known each other for a long time, and he knows just about everything there is to know about Renji. While he usually treats Renji as a superior, when they’re alone together, he sometimes reverts to the casual tone of an old friend. A capable man who handles all administrative tasks and carries them out flawlessly. It’s said that the [Redevelopment Project Bureau] couldn’t function without Shirou, and he usually runs the show in Renji’s stead. However, he’s recently grown fed up with the sheer volume of administrative work, and when Renji comes into the office, he seizes the opportunity to prepare a pile of tasks and dump them on him. He’s tall and handsome, and his skills are every bit as impressive as Renji’s. Translated from the [official site, archived]
