Yuri is the older twin sister of Arisu. Blind from birth and once somewhat detached from ordinary society, she envied Arisu and feels deeply indebted because her sister cared for her in their parents’ place; after her eyesight was restored she became much more sociable. She accepts Arisu’s excessive affection as something that cannot be helped, and she is uniquely suited to serve as the vessel for ■■■■, with no replacement in the universe.
