Christian is the son of Joseph and Mary and Christie's twin brother. At Joseph's cookout, they creep Amanda and the player character out by saying "Won't you come play with us?" and "Come play with us. Forever", which is a reference to Stanley Kubrick's movie "The Shining." [From the Wiki.]
