While her name is shown as “Buni,” her birth name is Bonnie Oryx, as people often mistake her name. She is the protagonist of the story, trapped in repeated loops in the hope that by solving the mystery behind her friend’s death, she can restore her friend’s humanity. She refers to the worlds she loops through as “stage plays,” viewing herself as an actor in each one. She grew up in a blacksmith family, always helping them, though no further information is provided in the story to add more depth. She is a student in class XI Bakeneko, alongside Violet, Cassie, Matrie, and Misaki. Her grades are good despite her belief that she performed poorly; however, this scene takes place before the looping begins. The difference between her pre-loop self and her current self is not significant.
