I’m a member of the Black Bear Mercenary Group, just an ordinary scout, shuttling daily between the Oasis and the wasteland. The monotonous grind of survival has left me numb and lonely. Out of longing for the past, I built a robot modeled after my late sister—Alice. The dream was beautiful, but the reality is that Alice is nothing like my sister, and the growing differences between them are giving me headaches. People around us have started to notice, casting us glances that range from curious to judgmental.
