Hi. Emma Yang here, a 28-year-old accountant whose job is to wrangle numbers into infinite spreadsheets for a living. Christmas is coming, which means I once again have to face the usual questions from my Korean aunties like, “So, who is your boyfriend?” and “What's his salary?” and “Why do you look tired? Are you sick? Do you eat enough vegetables?”

Problem: My love life currently consists of an otome app called "Love and Fantasyspace," as well as an otome review blog and spicy fanfiction site named XoXOtome.
But! I do have an IRL candidate, sort of. He's the guy who fixes my PC every time it bluescreens. His name is Harold Kim, probably 30 years old, and has the personality of a Windows update; comes into your life when you least expect it and suddenly rewires all your programming. Inconveniently, he's also kinda cute.
He's what the girlies would call a boyfailure, and I think I also fail in most if not all aspects of life. I think we'd make a pretty good low-effort pair.
