The protagonist, Tōya, graduates from high school and enters college together with his friends. However, in the winter when he has grown accustomed to college life, he encounters a fire accident. He loses Natsumi, and suffers mental wounds himself. Now he wants to forget this sorrow. He wants to forget everything. A world like this can just disappear.
Lost in despair, even after the new year begins, he cannot return to his former life. He continues wandering the streets aimlessly. Before he knows it, he finds himself in a certain park from days past. The park where he used to spend so much time with Natsumi. But something about that place is different. It is a park, but not a park.
Haruki, who worries about Tōya and gives him her all. Yukia, his younger sister, who grew distant after the accident and now rarely speaks to him. Honami, whom he meets at the library, carrying something in her heart.
As the season is about to change from winter to spring, the story begins to move.
