Higurashi When They Sleep: Yume is a fan game based on the novel «Higurashi When They Cry», where you play as Sachiko Fujioka, who moved from Hinamizawa to the city of Shishibone a few years ago. Life in a new place was not easy, and Sachiko felt lonely and alien most of the time, both at home, where there was no family harmony, and in the city. But everything changed in high school. There, fate brought the heroine together with the girls from the school club «Club X-extreme pastime!», who are engaged in camping in the wild, and not only there. Having joined there out of boredom, they began a strong female friendship, diluted with various adventures in the wild forests, abandoned buildings, and on the local mountains, spending time camping there. But in winter, everything changes: the club decides to set up a campsite right at school. At first, it seems funny... until harmless games are replaced by fear, suspicion, and horror.
